Call for applications: Sport for Social Development Grants

The Department of Community and Government Services’ Sport and Recreation Division, is encouraging Nunavut municipalities and non-profit organizations to apply for grants to support the planning and delivery of initiatives with the objectives to:
- Use sport as a tool for social development.
- Support women and girls in sport and recreation.
- Reduce barriers to participation in sports.
One-time grants up to $25,000 are available for organizations to support projects and initiatives.
The deadline for applications is September 16, 2024. Applicants must be in good standing with legal registries.
