The three territorial premiers say they are jointly committing a total of $75,000 to establish a permanent home for the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.

The Yukon, NWT and Nunavut premiers made the announcement on Monday, saying each territory is contributing $25,000 to the project.

In a press release, the three territories stated they have the highest Indigenous populations in Canada and “share a strong belief that Indigenous history, experiences and voices must be at the centre of reconciliation and efforts to build understanding and healing.”
