953731 NWT Ltd. o/a South Camp Enterprises is hiring Automotive Mechanics for our location in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.

Specific Skills:
- Perform automotive mechanic duties to repair and maintain vehicles in good condition
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Inspect various parts of the vehicle and ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively
- Detect and note down defects in automotive systems
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform through maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
- Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devises such as motor analyzers, handheld computers and chassis charts to determine how to address problems
- Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.)
- Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine the solution
- Measure vehicle emissions to ensure they are in the proper limits
- Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions
- Repair exhaust, brakes, hydraulic, electrical suspension and fuel ignition of automotive vehicles
- Check and repair electrical suspensions and wheel alignments of automotive vehicles
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and belt changes of automotive vehicles
- Check and repair air conditioning, computer and electronic systems
- Maintain and manage tools, equipment and machinery in good condition
- Ensure total customer satisfaction through excellent automotive mechanic services
- Keep logs of work and report on issues
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Certification: Automotive Service Technician Trade
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Hand-eye co-ordination; Attention to detail; Manual dexterity; Standing for extended periods
