Planned Partial-Community Power Outage in Iqaluit November 9

Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the residents of Iqaluit that last week’s planned partial-community power outage has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This planned power outage will affect customers around the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum, Visitor’s Centre and QEC Corporate Office, as
highlighted in the map below.

This outage is required to safely perform upgrades to a distribution line to improve reliability. QEC thanks residents for their understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
