Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) has been successful in securing a limited amount of funding to distribute to individuals and families in the region for a one-time continuation of On the Land (OTL).

If your household is going on the land during the summer months and would like to apply for funding to go toward food and gas, your family household will need to complete an application.

Details for On the Land Funding application form:

  • All interested in On the Land (OTL) will need to re-apply even if you have previously received OTL funding from IRC. Family households can complete this form and send by email to: [email protected]
  • If your family household has already gone on the land for the summer season, please submit an OTL Form to IRC. You may use the same form in order to let IRC know your household information: contact by email, phone and address, household members, store for fuel and short description of your trip.
  • The flat rate for applicants for the OTL program is $800 total ($400 for gas, $400 for groceries).

*Depending on the volume and demand, applications may take up to two weeks to process.

**The deadline for household On the Land applications with a complete form is August 14 at 5:00 pm. Unfortunately, due to limited funds, late applications will not be accepted at this time.

These financial supports for groceries, cleaning supplies and gas for on the land travel are made possible through IRC’s advocacy work for Inuvialuit. Koana, Quyanaq, Quyannaini to Inuvialuit beneficiaries for your patience as well as your attentive participation in programs for those who can benefit from support for On the Land activities.

Have a safe and productive season on the land and with family.
