Nunavut Environment Week

The Department of Environment invites all Nunavummiut to celebrate Environment Week, June 4-10.
Nunavut Environment Week is held at the same time as Canadian Environment Week, an annual event that encourages Canadians to take action to help preserve, protect and restore our environment. June 5 is World Environment Day and June 8 is World Oceans Day.
Follow the Government of Nunavut’s (GN) social media pages to take part in a photo contest, see our latest videos, and learn how you can make a difference in minimizing your carbon footprint.
