Media Advisory: Minister Dempster Participating in Event Commemorating Labrador Author and Matriarch Lydia Campbell

The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Labrador Affairs and Minister Responsible for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, is participating in an event on Monday, April 1, to commemorate the life of Lydia Campbell, Labrador author and matriarch.

The event includes a special ceremony at Mulligan Bay, a settlement located near North West River on Lake Melville. Minister Dempster will be joined by Perry Trimper, MHA for Lake Melville.

The commemorative event is being organized by Them Days magazine and starts at 11:00 a.m. An open invitation has been extended to the public to attend the event.
