Lottery licence administration training in Gjoa Haven and Taloyoak

The Department of Community and Government Services’ Consumer Affairs division will be delivering a two-day lottery licence administration training program for individuals and organizations in Gjoa Haven and Taloyoak.

This training will cover how to run lotteries including registration as a religious or charitable organization, administrative obligations, and the lottery licence application process. Organizations intending to conduct lotteries in Nunavut must do so in accordance with the Lotteries Act and Regulations.
