Kinngait Family Wellness closed until further notice

The Department of Family Services is advising residents of Kinngait of the closure of the Family Wellness offices from February 23 until further notice, due to staff safety concerns.

During the closure, limited staffing resources will be available to provide services on an emergency basis.

Calls will continue to go to the Family Wellness Offices in Kinngait, but there may be delays during this time.

The Department of Family Services is working with government and territorial partners to ensure Nunavummiut have access to necessary services while addressing staff safety concerns.
