The Nunavut Wildlife Management Board (NWMB) initiated the Jorgen Bolt Memorial Scholarship in 2021 to recognize Jorgen’s contributions to wildlife management in Nunavut. Jorgen was appointed to the Board by the Government of Nunavut-Department of Environment in 2017. During his time with the Board, Jorgen served with dedication and earnestness to ensure that future generations will be able to experience the land as he did.
