Jim Noble Nunavut Wildlife Management Board Scholarship
The Nunavut Wildlife Management Board (NWMB) initiated the Jim Noble Nunavut Wildlife Management Board Scholarship in the summer of 2015.
The annual $10,000.00 scholarship is split between two (2) successful applicants ($5,000.00 each) and is designed to assist students from Nunavut in obtaining an education in wildlife, wildlife management or the application of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit in wildlife management, which will then be applied to future work in Nunavut.
Criteria for Eligibility:
1. Applicant must be entering, or continuing with, post-secondary education that goes towards a degree, diploma or certificate in wildlife, wildlife management or the application of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit in wildlife management in Nunavut.
2. Applicant must currently be a resident of Nunavut and have resided in the territory for at least the past two (2) years.
3. The applicant must demonstrate a minimum academic achievement of 65% overall academic record.
Deadline for submitting the application for 2019 is September 13, 2019.
