The Government of Nunavut (GN) is advising Arviat residents that there has been a fuel spill at the Arviat Air Terminal Building.

The airport is open, and all airport services are available. Calm Air is temporarily using their cargo facility to operate their flights.

The GN is investigating the cause of the fuel spill and is actively working on the cleanup.
