CYFN’s 41st Annual General Assembly is scheduled to take place June 23 and 24th in Burwash Landing. Please refer to the following information on delegate or trade show registration, accommodations options and how to book, in addition to information about the daily agenda for the Annual General Assembly.

YUKON FIRST NATION DELEGATES:

EACH FIRST NATION MAY REGISTER A DELEGATION OF 5 PEOPLE, INCLUDING AN ELDER AND A YOUTH. REGISTER WITH DEVLIN AT: [email protected]

CAMPING: GROUP CAMPING IS ENCOURAGED

  • 14+ camping spaces with other open areas for camping
  • Firewood available
  • No electrical or sewage pump
  • Water will be available from the Jacquot Hall (bring your own water jugs)

Congdon Creek Campground (34 km East of Burwash on the Alaska Highway)

  • Yukon Government campground
  • Registration is required
  • Total of 62 camping spaces
  • Tenting allowed only inside the electric fence, due to high grizzly bear use of the area. There are a total of 20 sites within the fenced area.

Talbot Arm Motel (Destruction Bay) is FULLY BOOKED

THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN THE REGION:

The Thechal Dhâl’ Visitor Centre

  • Open on June 22nd from 10am to 6pm.
  • Stop in and say hi to KFN Parks Interpreter Monica Johnson.

The Kluane Museum of History

  • All fees will be covered for CYFN GA guests
  • Hours: Tuesday (3-6pm), Wednesday (12-3pm), Thursday (12-3pm)
