City of Iqaluit: Waterways Cleanup Event

The Annual Waterways Cleanup Event will be taking place on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 9am to 4pm.

Iqaluit’s waterways, creeks, rivers, ocean, and beachfront areas are important to the overall health, safety, and well-being of our community.

Residents wishing to take part in the cleanup can pick up gloves, garbage bags and raffle tickets behind the Elder’s Qammaq.

A lunchtime BBQ and drinks will be available, for volunteers of the cleanup, from 12pm to 1pm.
