Call for proposals: Women’s Initiatives and Men and Boys’ Initiatives grant programs

The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for community-based projects that promote women’s empowerment and community-based initiatives that provide services and programs for men and boys in Nunavut.

These initiatives and/or projects are to be delivered in the 2024-25 fiscal year and can begin any time after April 1, 2024.

Community-based, non-profit organizations, municipal corporations, and individuals may apply for funding to deliver projects that promote:

• Leadership skills.
• Wellness.
• Economic self-sufficiency.
• Employment.
• Self-reliance.
• Cultural and traditional knowledge.

Applications are available on the Government of Nunavut website. Applicants must provide proof of current standing with Nunavut legal registries, if applicable. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2024.
