by ahnationtalk on July 2, 201827 Views

Join us in celebrating Parks Day in territorial parks across Nunavut! Special events and activities are taking place in:

  • Iqalugaarjuup Territorial Park in Rankin Inlet on June 30, 2018.
  • Kugluk Territorial Park in Kugluktuk on July 9, 2018.
  • Katannilik Territorial Park in Kimmirut on July 21, 2018.
  • Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park in Iqaluit on July 21, 2018.
  • Ovayok Territorial Park in Cambridge Bay on July 21, 2018.

This is the perfect time to step away from computers, televisions and smart phones and spend a day exploring and enjoying all that Nunavut’s outstanding parks have to offer.

All across Canada, Canadians celebrate their federal, provincial and territorial parks during the third week of July. For more information about Parks Day and other events in a park near you, please contact Annette Boucher, 867-645-8006 or at aboucher@gov.nu.ca.
