Parents can now register their children for the upcoming Inuvialuit Summer Literacy Camp, which will take place July 3 to 20, 2018.

Campers will take part in many types of fun and educational activities designed to help prevent summer learning loss by promoting a love of reading and learning. Activites may include: reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, field trips, music, sports, and more.

This year, the Inuvialuit Summer Literacy Camp will be held in Inuvik (Inuvik Youth Centre), Aklavik (Moose Kerr School), and Tuktoyaktuk (Mangilaluk School).

This opportunity is open to youth six to 12 years old. There is no cost to attend.

All campers will be provided with snacks and beverages throughout the day and will frequently be engaging in outdoor activities that will take them off premises.

Each day will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Space is limited.

Inuvialuit Regional Corporation would like to thank all partners for putting together this initiative.
