Grants and Contributions Public Presentation – Government of NU

Learn everything you need to know about receiving funding for the promotion, protection, revitalization and preservation of Nunavut’s culture, heritage and official languages!
The Department of Culture and Heritage will hold a public information session about its Grants and Contributions programs on February 14 from 7-8 p.m. at the Whale Cove Community Hall. The presentation will also be broadcast live on Isatikpaluk radio station.
The following funding categories will be covered:
- heritage programs – preserving cultural legacy;
- Elders and youth programs – support for Elders and youth activities;
- Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit – maintaining Inuit societal values with social well-being initiatives; and
- official languages – language promotion, protection and preservation.
The information session is free, open to all members of the public and a Q&A session will follow. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
