Call for nominations to the Nunavik Marine Region Impact Review Board

The Government of Nunavut is looking for nominations to fill its seat on the Nunavik Marine Region Impact Review Board (NMRIRB).

The NMRIRB has broad responsibilities for environmental management issues in the Nunavik Marine Region, including the ecosystemic and socio-economic impact assessments of project proposals.

If you are familiar with offshore environmental issues in the Nunavik Marine Region and would like to contribute to the work of the NMRIRB, please contact Lena Takoonagak for more information and for an application, at 867-975-7705 or ltakoonagak@gov.nu.ca.

The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. on September 14, 2018.
