Assembly of First Nations 2015 Golf Tournament

With the golf season fast approaching we are pleased to announce exciting plans for the 2015 Fundraiser Golf Tournament hosted by the Assembly of First Nations. The tournament, scheduled to take place Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Greyhawk Golf Club in Cumberland, Ontario promises to be another fabulous success. Companies, businesses or individuals are invited to sponsor segments of the event in turn for great exposure.

“A new $5-million, 17,100-square-foot clubhouse has a Canadian feel reminiscent of frontier homes with log siding and tiger-stripe natural stone. Inside, you can enjoy that Old World feel in the Irish-inspired Black Pint Pub, or gather outside on the 1,750-square-foot covered patio. Appropriately enough for the National Capital Region, the clubhouse and the course are classic and a reflection of the atmosphere and rugged beauty of the region”.

The attached tournament package includes event details, various sponsorship opportunities, registration form, and directions to the Greyhawk Golf Club. We would like to thank you for considering the Assembly of First Nations for your sponsorship and hope to have you on board for this years’ exciting tournament.

The Committee would like to once again thank all of last year’s golfers, sponsors, and donors. Thank you for your continued support, you are making a difference and changing lives in the First Nation community.

Sincerely,

The Assembly of First Nations Social Committee

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Golf Tournament’s fundraising efforts will be directed to the Youth, Elder’s and Women’s Councils as well as underfunded activities such as Supreme Court Interventions, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal and many other advocacy efforts.

In order to meet our advocacy efforts, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn’t be able to aid those in our community each year.

We hope that you will be able to take part in the AFN Golf Tournament and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our causes.
